Gelato!

This luscious confection is God's gift to those of us who love ice cream. Someone once told me gelato is like sex and ice cream combined. All I can say to that is amen.

I didn't know until recently that gelato was created and first sold in Florence. So what better place exists for us to indulge? For a little history we should visit this location which is the first gelateria in Florence. Vivoli, near Santa Croce. http://vivoli.it/en/home-2/
